This is one of my very favorite dresses of all time. I picked it up at a vintage store years ago, and now these (so-called) tiki dresses are hugely overpriced and expensive. They tend to have beautiful seaming, be fully lined, and ruched elasticized backs that mean they fit the torso beautifully. And, of course, that cross-over tie skirt hides all tummy sins.
Above you can see me in the dress now, in Orlando, and next to it I'm wearing it several years ago in New Orleans. All hail the Rack Reduction! Although I wonder what happened to that lip color. I liked it. I also forgot how much I like those square glasses. Hum...
